Spanish courses

IH Bogotá offers the following five Spanish language courses:

Intensive Group Courses

From January 2008 you will be able to take Intensive courses of 20 hours per week in groups with up to a maximum of 8 students.

Courses will be offered at all levels and students will be able to stay for as many weeks as they like (minimum 2, maximum 12).

Students with some knowledge of Spanish can start any Monday.

Starting dates for beginners are:

• 3 and 16 June
• 1, 14 and 28 July
• 11 and 25 August
• 8 and 22 September
• 6 and 20 October
• 4 and 18 November
• 1 and 15 December

One-to-one (or one-to-two) classes

The dates, times and linguistic focus of these private language classes can be scheduled to suit the needs and preferences of the students concerned. We are able to offer private classes at all levels and students can start any Monday of the year (except public holidays).

Intensive Spanish course +Voluntary Work

This option gives you our regular, 20 hours a week intensive Spanish course in the morning and volunteer work in the afternoons, with children, the elderly or internal refugees.

Minimum stay: 4 weeks

Closed group courses

IH Bogotá is able to organize courses for closed groups of students at any time of the year. The duration, intensity and linguistic focus of these courses can be tailor-made to the needs and preferences of the students.

Online Spanish courses

In collaboration with our partner company Net Languages, IH Bogotá offers online Spanish courses which include a personalized tutorial service. All levels are available from beginners to upper intermediate.

Summary of Course Prices 2008

• Intensive Group courses: 1- 4 weeks: $US 200 per week; 5 or more weeks: $US 185 per week
• One-to-one classes: $US 29 per hour; Two-to-one classes: $US 35 per hour

• Closed group courses: prices vary according to specific requirements
• Online Spanish courses: Complete level (120 hours): $US 480; Half a level (60 hours): $US 265
