TKT course

TKT, the "Teaching Knowledge Test", is the new test from Cambridge ESOL.

The purpose of TKT is "to increase teachers' confidence and enhance job prospects by focusing on the core teaching knowledge needed by teachers of primary, secondary or adult learners, anywhere in the world."

It is suitable for "non-native" English teachers (those whose mother tongue is not English).

The course is designed for teachers preparing to take the TKT test, and covers the three exam "modules":

1. Language and background to language learning and teaching
2. Planning lessons and use of resources for language teaching
3. Managing the teaching and learning process

Face-to-face course

The nine-week, 45-hour face-to-face course is divided into 3 modules, each of 15 hours.

Timetable
The course is twice a week, with the following timetable:

Saturdays, 08.00-13.00

Start date
Saturday 19th May (ending Saturday 14th July)

Price
The face-to-face TKT course is priced 850.000 pesos. The cost of the (optional) material is not included.
